Livi Jacobs “Better That Way” REVIEW
Livi Jacobs, singer and songwriter growing up in Vienna, Austria, the 22 year-old is now based in a small town off the coast of southwest Florida. Her pursuit of her career in the music industry has led her to spend a lot of her time in Nashville, Tennessee and Los Angeles, California where she learned from individuals who taught her about the craft of songwriting.
She is thrilled to announce the release of her fifth single, “Better That Way”. After steadily building her fanbase with each release, Livi has high hopes for this song. “Better That Way” takes the listener on a journey, remembering a “situationship” that ended instantly. Production-wise, Livi started experimenting with distorted voices and EDM influences, which quickly became one of her favorite sounds to date.
Livi’s words about the project: “I am very excited about my song "Better That Way", since the production of this song really helped me step out of my comfort zone and experiment with new sounds, including an EDM influence and distorted voices. After hearing the song come together, I fell in love with this project.”
Within months of her debut, Livi garnered the attention of many playlist curators and over 80,000 new listenerson Spotify alone. Landing radio play in over 39 countries, Livi states, these numbers have already exceeded her expectations of how she thought her music would be performing.
