Talented singer songwriter, A.b. Violet, release her first song of 2023 with a spectral, authentic & emotional piece of music, called “Lifetime”.
Lifetime is literally about dreaming of a different life, being hit with the realisation that perhaps the life you're living isn't quite what you expected, the single has been redrafted several times and been sent to several different producers. she ended up releasing the true original draft, with the first recorded vocal, giving sense of of pure authenticity.
Violet words about the song: “When I started music, I was an advocate of learning and growth, then was quickly burdened with seeking absolute perfection. Now it’s nearly been a year and I’ve still not found it. 'Lifetime' has felt like it's been around for a lifetime and I need to please it to move on. After several redrafts, edits and collabs, I took a HUGE U-turn and decided to release the absolute original- it feels most real. However, throughout the process, I have learnt a lot, and am very excited about putting it to use, in the tracks lined up for the next few months. Catchy, vibes, synth-y pop, encapsulating the daydream of a different life.”
